Week 5 of the season is here and Indiana football is looking to improve to 5-0 with Maryland coming into Bloomington.
The Hoosiers are coming off a massive blow out win against Charlotte in their last non-conference game of the season.
Maryland comes into Bloomington riding a 2-game winning streak but are currently 0-1 in the Big Ten. The Maryland game will mark the first of eight consecutive Big Ten games for Indiana football to close the 2024 regular season.
The game will kick at noon ET and air on the Big Ten Network.

First Quarter
Indiana football with the ball first. Indiana football starts the opening drive on the 25-yard line.
Rourke gets sacked on the opening drive after completing a first down completion to Elijah Sarratt.
Kurtis Rourke with his first interception of the season. Could see that coming as ball was in the air. The first turnover of the season.
Indiana’s defense forces a 3-and-out. Indiana gets the ball back. CJ West got the sack on first down.
Wow, another interception from Rourke. Very unlike him.
Indiana football’s defense forces another 3-and-out.
Screen pass to Myles Price gets Indiana football a first down on the third drive.
Rourke is facing a ton presser from the Maryland defense. Offensive line not looking as strong as they have the first part of the season.
Zach Horton with a crazy catch to get Indiana football to the 1-yard line as we close out the quarter.

Second Quarter
Myles Price gets Indiana football on the board first. 7-0 Hoosiers with 14:55 left in the first half.
Maryland getting some momentum on their third drive. Defense has kind of let up on the gas a bit.
Maryland offensive lineman Aiou Bah gets an unsportsmanlike mentality, Maryland follows it up with an illegal snap, and then Bah gets called for a facemask.
Maryland gets bailed out with a 15-yard mentality on Indiana DB Jamier Johnson.
Maryland with a 33-yard TD from Billy Edwards to Kaden Prather. We are tied at 7 with 9:16 left in the half.
Hoosiers start their 4th drive on the IU25.
Indiana football punts. Rourke is forcing it just a little too much today.
Indiana’s defense forces yet another three-and-out. Rinse and Repeat.
Indiana RB Kaelon Black fumbles the ball and gives it right back to Maryland.
Indiana football with a three-and-out. Hoosiers have a long way to go on the offensive end however. Down at the IU1.
Rourke sack. Indiana punts. Maryland with a chance to take the lead heading into halftime.
Indiana’s defense forces another three-and-out. Indiana gets the ball back with 1:10 left.
Rourke finds Omar Cooper Jr. for a 27-yard TD and Indiana takes the lead 14-7.
At the half: Indiana football 14, Maryland 7
Third Quarter
Maryland with the ball to start the second half.
Indiana gets an interception but the Hoosiers were offsides. Maryland with a lucky break.
Maryland scores on their opening drives it 75-yards to tie it up. 14-14 with 9:52 left in the 3Q.
You are going to learn a lot about this Indiana team and how they face adversity the rest of the way through. First time all season they are being challenged.
Myles Price snuck away from the Maryland defense and Rourke found him for a 41-yard completion. Hoosiers are marching.
Justice Ellison finds a big gap and runs it in for 19-yard TD. Hoosiers up 21-14 with 7:31 left in the 3Q.
Wow, 75-yard rushing TD from Maryland’s Roman Hemby and we are tied at 21. 7:21 left in the 3Q.
Indiana football goes three-and-out the next drive.
Indiana’s defense shows life and stops Maryland. Terps punt and Indiana gets the ball at the IU34.
Rourke finds Elijah Sarratt for 13-yard TD. Indiana takes the lead 28-21.
End 3Q: Indiana football 28, Maryland 21
Fourth Quarter
Quarter stars with an Indiana football defensive stop.
Donaven McCulley is BACK. Rourke finds him for a 12-yard TD to extend the lead to 35-21.
Maryland started to march down the field next drive.
There was a review on a possible Maryland TD and it was ruled incomplete.
Indiana forces a huge stop and Marylands gives the back to the Hoosiers with 8:07 left. Indiana football leads 35-21.
Kurtis Rourke takes a big hit and fumbles which is recovered by Maryland at their own 34 with 5:42 left.
Indiana does not allow a first down and makes a huge stop on fourth down. Indiana takes over on the Maryland 27 with 5:02 left.
Ty Son Lawton punches it in from 14 yards and Indiana football leads 42-21 with 4:09 left.
Maryland responds quickly as Billy Edwards Jr. finds Roman Hemby for 12 yard TD. Indiana leads 42-28 with 2:55 remaining.
Maryland does not recover the onside kick but forces a three and out. James Evans’ punt is downed at the 1 with 2:25 left.
Indiana forced the stop and blocked the ensuing punt. Indiana took over at the Maryland 13, but took a knee to end the game.
