HoosierIllustrated Live Blog: FINAL: Nebraska 85, Indiana basketball 70

Indiana basketball continues its 124th season of competition with a Wednesday night game against the Nebraska Cornhuskers at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall. Hooiserd are currently riding a two-game losing skid.

Senior guard Keisei Tominaga scores a team-best 14.1 points per game on the strength of a Husker-high 53 made 3-pointers. Junior forward Rienk Mast leads the team in both assists (3.1 per game) and rebounds (8.1) while scoring 13.5 points per outing.

Nebraska is led by fifth-year head coach Fred Hoiberg, who is one of three coaches in the Big Ten to have played in the NBA. He joins Indiana head coach Mike Woodson and Michigan’s Juwan Howard.

Nebraska ball out of the break.

Reneau gets the first basket for Indiana out of the half. He quickly picks up his third foul but hit the ground hold his face. He was fine and stayed in.

Ware goes 1-2 at the line.

Reneau goes 2-2 at the line.

Ware goes 0-2 at the line. Hoosiers down 13.

Ware would get fouled again. He would go 0-2 again. Four straight misses from Ware at the line.

CJ Gunn with a HUGE three followed by a Reneau transition slam to cut the lead to Nebraska. Indiana on a 18-3 run and Nebraska calls timeout.

Reneau buckets cuts the lead to 4. Nebraska would respond, however.
