Indiana basketball continues Big Ten Conference play in its 125th season of competition with the final game of a two-game Pacific Northwest road swing against Oregon.

Indiana won the first game of the West Coast trip on Saturday against Washington and are winners of 4 of their last 5 games.

The Ducks enter the game with a record of 21-8 (10-8 Big Ten) under Dana Altman. Oregon is led by sophomore guard Jackson Shelstad who comes into this game averaging 13.4 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 1.0 steals per game. Senior center Nathan Bittle is the second-leading scorer for the Ducks averaging 13.3 points and 7.1 rebounds per game. KeeShawn Barthelemy (10.2) and TJ Bamba (10.1) also average double-figures for the Ducks.

Tipoff is set for 9:00 pm on FS1.

First half:

Nate Bittle opened the scoring with a jumper for Oregon.

Oumar Ballo answers with a layup off of a Trey Galloway assist.

After a missed three from Goode, Galloway gets the tip in to go.

Shelstad gets a quick layup right after.

Galloway finds Oumar Ballo for a massive alley-oop slam.

Oregon gets two threes to go to extend their lead to 16-10.

Goode answers with a three off the glass.

Under 16 timeout – Oregon 20, Indiana 15

Malik Reneau checks in and gets two quick layups to go.

Jackson Shelstad buries a stepback three.

Under 8 – Oregon 25, Indiana 19

Kwame Evans Jr. hits a three to extend the lead to 9.

Carlyle responds with a three off of a Trey Galloway Offensive board.

Ballo gets a hook shot to fall to cut the deficit 4 but Bittle responds with a bucket of his own.

Carlyle buries another three to cut the score to 30-27.

Under 4 timeout: Oregon 30, Indiana Basketball 27

Reneau is fouled out of the timeout and misses both free throws.

Trey Galloway goes down holding his face after getting hit with an inadvertent elbow and leaves the game.

Malik Reneau goes right down the lane for another score to cut the deficit to one.

Indiana gets another stop and Rice finds Leal for a layup to give Indiana the lead for the time since the opening minute. Hoosiers on a 12-2 run.

Reneau fouls Bamba on a drive.

Right after the foul a technical foul was called on Supreme Cook after a confrontation and gesture towards Ballo. Rice went 1/2 at the line.

Cook makes both FTs and after an Oregon stop Kwame Evans Jr. buries a three off of an offensive board to give Oregon the lead.

Kwame Evans Jr. fouls Reneau at the rim on the catch with a second to go after a great inbounds pass from Kanaan Carlyle.

Reneau misses the front end of the one-and-one.

Luke Goode buries a three to open the half and tie the game off of Mgbako’s pass.

TJ Bamba gets a layup to go to give Oregon the lead.

Mgbako fouls Tracey who converts both free throws.

Ballo scores off of Galloway’s maybe pass/shot off the glass.

Oregon gets another second chance bucket and Galloway immediately responds with a tough layup.

Luke Goode gets the steal but the Hoosiers can’t convert.

Tracey gets an and-one layup in transition off of an Indiana turnover.

He misses the FT but Oregon gets another offensive board and second chance layup.

Hoosiers immediately push the ball and Mgbako drills a three.

Evans Jr. buries a tough post hook to extend the Oregon lead to 5.

Malik Reneau draws a foul.

Mackenzie Mgbako draws contact and converts both of his attempts at the FT line.

Anthony Leal is called for a blocking foul after attempting to take a charge.

Mgbako buries his second three of the half off the dribble to tie the game.

Myles Rice buries a transition three off of Trey Galoway’s pass to give the Hoosiers the lead.

Rice’s three is short and Oregon immediately gets a layup in transition.

Luke Goode picks up his third foul and Nate Bittle converts both FTs to give Oregon the lead.

Myles Rice turns it over against Oregon’s press and the Ducks score right after.

Galloway gets another floater to go, his 10th point of the game.

Under 12 timeout: Oregon 53, Indiana Basketball 52

Trey Galloway hits a three off the inbounds pass to give the Hoosiers the lead.

Jackson Shelstad buries a tough jumper to tie the game at 55.

Indiana responds with a Ballo dunk off Rice’s entry pass.

Bittle draws the foul on Ballo and converts both FTs to tie the game again.

Kanaan Carlyle makes a tough runner to retake the lead.

Oumar Ballo grabs his 10th board off the Oregon miss to give himself a double-double.

Under 8 timeout: Indiana Basketball 59, Oregon 57

Oregon gets another second chance bucket out of the break.

Oumar Ballo’s incredible perimeter defense on Jackson Shelstad forces a shot clock violation on Oregon.

Anthony Leal is called for his third foul and Brandon Angel heads to the line for a one and one.

Angel converts both FTs to give Oregon a 2 point lead.

Anthony Leal gets the steal and finds Malik Reneau for the transition layup to tie the game.

Oregon calls timeout with 3:30 to go.

TJ Bamba scores a tough layup out of the break to give Oregon the lead.

Bamba then gets a steal on the ensuing possession.

Under 4 timeout: Oregon 63, Indiana Basketball 61

Hoosiers get the stop out of the break after Ballo blocks Bittle’s jumper.

Galloway buries a three to give Indiana the lead at 64-63 with 1:57 to go.

Indiana basketball calls timeout right after.

Hoosiers press forces Jackson Shelstad to use a timeout with 1:46 to go. Oregon has one timeout left.

Jackson Shelstad gives Oregon the lead off of a deep three before the shot clock expires. 66-64 Oregon with 1:22 to go.

Indiana calls timeout.

Trey Galloway turns it over than fouls Bittle trying to get it back.

Bittle converts both FTs to grow the lead to 4.

Mgbako misses the three and Shelstad grabs the board and is fouled.

Shelstad makes both FTs and Oregon leads 70-64 with 55 seconds left.

Myles Rice misses the jumper and Indiana has to foul.

Shelstad goes 1-2 at the line.

Indiana turns it over and that’ll likely do it.
