After a major high-profile recruiting weekend for Indiana basketball, the first commitment may not be far off.

All eyes have been on the 2025 recruiting class for Indiana basketball for the last few years. With notable high-profile targets seriously considering the Hoosiers and with relationships strong in numerous circles, the expectation was that Indiana would have a massive opportunity to bring in a class that could turn the tide for IU.

The last few years seemed to come down to this month with numerous five-star prospects on campus. And more specifically, this past weekend seemed to be the peak.

Five-star guard Braylon Mullins and four-star forwards Trent Sisley and Eric Reibe all took official visits to Bloomington and the first domino could soon fall in favor of IU.

On Sunday, 247Sports national analyst Travis Branham logged a crystal ball in favor of Indiana basketball to land Sisley.

Sisley recently transferred to Montverde Academy (Fla.) after spending his first three seasons at Heritage Hills (Ind). Indiana has been involved with Sisley for numerous years and now have an added relationship with the Montverde connection.

This summer playing on the Adidas 3SSB Circuit for Indiana Elite, he averaged 13.4 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 13 games. Before transferring to Montverde Academy this past summer, he had a terrific junior season at Heritage Hills when he averaged 24.0 points, 11.5 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game. Sisley also became the all-time leading scorer in Heritage Hills school history this past season.

Sisley has been focused on Indiana, Purdue, Notre Dame and Michigan State in his recruitment — but it appears Indiana may be the team to beat.

The 6-foot-7 forward is ranked No. 75 in the 247Sports Composite Rankings.
