Bradley transfer guard and Bloomington native Connor Hickman is set to meet with Indiana basketball this weekend, he tells HoosierIllustrated.com. Jeff Rabjohns of Peegs.com was first to report the news.

Hickman has one year of eligibility remaining after three extremely productive seasons at Bradley. He is coming off of an All-Missouri Valley Third Team season as a junior when he averaged 14.5 points, 3.4 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.2 steals per game. He shot 40.2 percent from three, making 2.4 3s per game.

He hit at least two 3s in 24 games and three 3s in 11 games. He scored 20 points eight times, including 21 points against both Drake and Utah State, two NCAA Tournament teams.

He averaged 14.0 points on 52.4 percent (11-of-21) from the field in two NIT games this season against Loyola (Ill.) and Cincinnati.

As a sophomore, Hickman averaged 8.6 points and shot 33.6 percent from three. As a freshman, he averaged 6.8 points and shot 37.4 percent from three. He is a career 37.3 percent three-point shooter on 1.6 made 3s per game.

Hickman has started 87 of 96 games played across three seasons.

The 6-foot-3 point guard was teammates with current Indiana basketball guard Anthony Leal on Bloomington South (Ind.) and was a critical part of its 26-0 season before the state tournament was cancelled due to covid.

Indiana basketball has seven available scholarships and no current signees or commits for the 2024 class.
