Indiana basketball heads back on the road, traveling up north to East Lansing, Michigan, to face the Michigan State Spartans. Indiana is coming off a loss to Michigan that made them 5-8 in the Big Ten.
The Spartans enter the game with a record of 19-4 (10-2 Big Ten) under Hall of Fame head coach Tom Izzo. Michigan State has seven players that score 7.5 points per game or more and are led by 13.4 points per night from senior guard Jaden Akins. MSU is tied for 11th nationally (second in the Big Ten) with an average of 40.7 rebounds per game. They outrebound their opponents by 10.2 boards per night, the third-best figure in the country.
Tipoff is set for 9:00 ET on Peacock.

The zone that Indiana has went to has completely flipped the script on Michigan State. Indiana has slowed down the offense of the Spartans while also finding their own.

Ballo picks up a foul. MSU’s Cooper went 0-2 at the line however.
Ballo gets fouled. He goes 2-2 at the line. Hoosiers are up 30-29 now and have their first lead of the game.
