For the first time since 2017, ESPN’s College Gameday will be coming to Bloomington for Indiana football.
It will be the first time Indiana football hosts the popular show on a Saturday as their only other time was for a Thursday kickoff against Ohio State. Indiana lost that game 49-21.
Pat McAfee has hinted that the show has been targeting a stop in Bloomington because of their undefeated start to the season.
After a dominating win against Nebraska, the Hoosiers are 7-0 for the first time since 1967. Washington is 4-3 on the season and will be coming off of a bye week when they come to Bloomington.
Former Indiana football coach Lee Corso who is a staple of the show, is expected to be making a return to his former school.
Cignetti has emphasized the importance of changing the culture, and Gameday’s arrival is indicative of the strides he has made in his short amount of time with Indiana football.
