Indiana basketball is set to have one of the top 2027 in-state prospects on campus here in the of the month of October.
As first reported by Recruits Zone, Top-25 2027 guard Jason Gardner Jr. of Fishers High School (IN) has set an unofficial visit to Indiana basketball on October 18, the same night at Hoosier Hysteria. It was also reported that he set up a DePaul unofficial visit, as well.
HoosierIllustrated.com was able to confirm this news, as well.
He currently holds offers from Purdue, Notre Dame, Cincinnati, Morehead State, and IU-Indy.
Gardner is coming off a freshman season at Fishers where he averaged 7.2 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 2.4 assists also while helping the Tigers to become Class 4A State Champions.

Gardner Jr. started to get his name noticed out on the AAU scene as he has started to become one on the more talked about underclassmen on the Adidas 3SSB Circuit playing for Indiana Elite 2027 this past summer.
His straight line quickness on the ball may be the most impressive part of his game which easily allows him to change direction and be an elite playmaker getting to the rim or facilitating on a kick0out. He is also a very capable shooter as well and has only gotten better and better in that area over the past year.
It is expected that more in-state Indiana basketball targets will be announced to be in attendance for Hoosier Hysteria in the coming weeks.
