Former IU Basketball player Juwan Morgan has signed a contract with KK Budućnost of the Montenegrin Basketball League, Adriatic League, and Eurocup. Morgan joins his former Indiana teammate Yogi Ferrell overseas in Montenegro.
During his time with Indiana, Morgan played in 128 games and averaged 10.7 points and 5.9 rebounds per game. As a junior, Morgan averaged 16.5 points and 7.4 rebounds which led to him being named to the All-Big Ten Second team.
He then followed that season up by averaging 15.5 points and 8.2 rebounds per game en route to an All-Big Ten Third team selection.
After four seasons with the Hoosiers, Morgan went undrafted in the NBA Draft and then bounced around the NBA and G League before going overseas in 2023 to play for Zenit Saint Petersburg in Russia. Morgan spent time with the Utah Jazz, Toronto Raptors, Boston Celtics, and their G League affiliates.

Morgan only played one season with Ferrell at Indiana (2015-16) but it was a memorable one. As a freshman, Morgan only played nine minutes a game as Ferrell led the Hoosiers in points and assists.

Ferrell led Indiana to an outright Big Ten regular season title and a Sweet Sixteen appearance where they eventually lost to North Carolina. That loss came after the Hoosiers sent Kentucky home in the Round of 32.
Both Morgan and Ferrell are on the roster for the ‘Assembly Ball’ team that is made up of former Hoosiers competing in the Basketball Tournament.
The former teammates will continue their overseas journeys playing together in Montenegro next season.
