Former Indiana Women’s basketball guard Sara Scalia has signed a contract with Italian basketball club Magnolia Campobasso she announced via X/Twitter.
Scalia just completed her collegiate career with Indiana and played a big role on their run to the Sweet Sixteen.
She averaged 16.3 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game while shooting 42.7% from beyond the arc.
Scalia also set the Indiana Women’s Basketball record for made threes in a season with 103 this past season.
The Stillwater, Minn. native was named to the All-Big Ten First Team after the season.
Despite her play, Scalia went undrafted in the WNBA Draft which led to her seeking alternative options for her professional career.
Scalia will now continue her career with Magnolia Campobasso who is coming off a semi-final loss in the Lega Basket Femminile playoffs.
