The Indiana football program continued its strong spring by adding another member to its 2025 recruiting class by way of Byron Baldwin of Calvert Hall College (Md.).

Baldwin announced his pledge on Wednesday, picking Indiana football over other offers from Wisconsin, Tennessee, Rutgers, Minnesota, Kentucky and numerous other power five program.

He took an unofficial visit near the end March and saw enough to end his recruitment.

Baldwin is a 6-foot and 185-pound defensive back who finished with 89 tackles, four pass break ups, two interceptions, two forced fumbles and one tackle for loss as a junior. He had 35 tackles, six pass break ups and one interception as a sophomore.

Baldwin is the third commitment for Indiana football on the defensive side of the ball. He joins Garrett Reese as the two defensive back commitments in the class.

Overall, Baldwin is the seventh commitment for Indiana in 2025.

The new Indiana commit will be back on campus starting June 21 for an official visit.
