Mike Woodson and his Indiana basketball staff are continuing the great trend of getting official and unofficial visits set for the fall season with the Hoosiers getting another one locked in.
Per ESPN Recruiting Director Paul Biancardi, 2025 four-star center Eric Reibe has set Indiana basketball official visit for October 4-6 weekend. Indiana football will be traveling to Northwestern that weekend so there will be no football game in Bloomington. He also has visits set up with Kansas, UConn, Kentucky, North Carolina, and Oregon.
Reibe recently trimmed his list to 11 schools including Indiana basketball along with Kentucky, UConn, North Carolina, Kansas, Harvard, Ohio State, West Virginia, Stanford, Oregon and Creighton.
His recruitment with the Indiana basketball program has been up and down. Since the IU staff was involved extremely early on in his process, there was no rush on either end to speed things up. But, after the buzz following his emergence as a top-50 prospect, Indiana made it clear it is still interested.
His play at the NBPA Top 100 Camp skyrocketed his stock. He averaged 19.7 points, 6.6 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game which included being seen in person by multiple college coaches.
Reibe is a German native and arrived in the United States in January.
He played for U18 Ratiopharm Ulm last season and averaged 15.5 points and 9.0 rebounds per game in the U18 Adidas Next Generation Tournament this winter. He was 6-of-12 from three in the tournament.
Reibe is a lefty who can do a little bit of everything on the floor. He has good touch from the outside and can be a stretch-5 at the college level. He has good length and footwork to be effective in the paint as well. He originally played for New World on the Adidas 3SSB circuit before heading to the Pro16/NXT League. He plays for the Bullis School in Maryland.
