2024 Georgia running back Justus Savage announced his commitment to the Indiana football program on Thursday night.

The Indiana football program landed its second commitment in as many days as 2024 running back Justus Savage announced his pledge late on Thursday night.

Savage committed to the Indiana football program over offers including Toledo, Charleston Southern and Bethune-Cookman. Indiana was his only power-five scholarship offer.

Savage, while unranked, has been a very productive back for a good Langston Hughes (Ga.) team in the 6A division. He burst on to the scene as a junior helping Hughes go undefeated en route to a 6A State Title. He had 1,028 yards on 6.7 yards per carry with 12 touchdowns.

Through seven games this season he has 652 yards on 80 carries and 11 touchdowns. His biggest game was a 135-yard and two-touchdown performance int he season opener on ESPN2.

Savage is the 19th commitment for Tom Allen and the Indiana football program in the 2024 recruiting class.

“We’re there. You might add a guy or two, but I don’t see a lot more. I’m thinking in the 18 to 20-ish range is where you’re at,” Allen said about the expected 2024 high school class. “So I think we’re really close to where we want to be from a high school number, which is higher than a lot of people are choosing to go right now.”

Indiana received a commitment from top-500 prospect Josh Philostin on Wednesday.
