Indiana basketball is expected to host 2024 prospect Diamant Blazi on a visit later this week, he confirms with HoosierIllustrated.com. The Daily Hoosier was the first to report the news.
He will be on campus from March 27-29 for an official visit.
Both Indiana basketball head coach Mike Woodson and assistant Kenya Hunter have been in communication.
Blazi is a 6-foot-8 wing who plays for Jordan Christian Prep (Fla.) and arrived in the United States last year. He is originally from France. He holds an offer from Monmouth but interest from programs such as Notre Dame, Western Kentucky, North Florida and others. He also took a visit to Overtime Elite earlier this year.
Blazi is a phenomenal athlete who has tremendous length and all of the physical tools to be a high-impact perimeter player in time. He is still learning to put all of his tools together and still slightly raw. He has a self-reported 42 inch vertical and 7-foot-2 wingspan.
He was a First-Team All-State selection by the Sunshine Independent Athletic Association this season. He averaged 15.5 points per game this year.
Indiana basketball currently has seven available scholarships and no commits for the 2024 class.
