Per a report from CBS Sports College Basketball Insider Jon Rothstein, Indiana basketball will host Army on November 12th as part of its 2023-24 non-conference schedule.
This news comes just three after is reported that Indiana will host Morehead State as well this upcoming season.
Indiana basketball’s schedule is really starting to take shape as their non-conference schedule is highlighted by Kansas, Auburn and the Empire Classic. Harvard, Florida Gulf Coast and Wright State are the other non-conference opponents on the schedule as of now.
For the Empire Classic, Indiana will play two of UConn, Texas and Louisville from Nov. 19-20 at Madison Square Garden.

Army, who is coached by first year head coach Kevin Kowik, finished 10-8 in Patriot League conference play last season with an overall record 17-16.
Army also has a special connection as former legendary Indiana basketball head coach Bob Knight spent 8 years as a coach there before coming to Indiana in 1971. Knight was an assistant at Army from 1963–1965 before becoming head coach from the years 1965–1971.
This will also provide a chance for Army players and Indiana natives Blake Barker, Charlie Peterson, and Matt Dove a chance to come to Indiana and play in their home state.
This will be the first time ever that Indiana will play Army.
