Coach Curt Cignetti and Indiana football have landed their second Old Dominion transfer defensive back of the day.
As it was announced per his Twitter account, Old Dominion junior defense back Terry Jones committed to Indiana football. He is the second Old Dominion DB to commit to play for Indiana football with Shawn Asbury II announcing earlier.
Last season, Terry Jones totaled 104 tackles with one forced fumble and recovery. He played a total 743 defensive snaps last year for the Monarchs. He has a career high 13 single-game tackles which he accomplished in two games last season.
Jones was named as an All-Sun Belt honorable mention in the 2023 season. According to the PFF, the 2023 season as the best for Terry Jones with a solid 74.6 rating.
While he is listed a DB, Jones appeared in 12 games last season having starting 11 of those games at the safety position.
Coming out of high school where he attended Mergenthaler (Baltimore, MD), he was rated as the No. 41 prospect out of the state of Maryland.
He will have one year of eligibility remaining for Indiana football.
