#8 Indiana football is back at home this weekend, hosting Michigan in front of a sold out crowd at Memorial Stadium.
Michigan enters the game with a 5-4 record overall, 3-3 record in conference play. The Wolverines have dropped three games in the team’s last four, most recently losing 38-17 to #1 Oregon at home.
Indiana football enters the game looking to improve to 10-0, seeking a higher ranking in the CFB playoff rankings.
Below is the full preview ahead of Saturday’s matchup.
Key Question
Can Indiana continue to dominate at home against Big Ten teams?
Indiana football is currently 3-0 at home against Big Ten teams, outscoring those opponents 129-52.
Indiana has been extremely dominant in conference home games. Despite quarterback Kurtis Rourke sitting out for the second half against Nebraska and the entire game against Washington, Indiana is yet to take its foot off the gas.
Indiana football head coach Curt Cignetti gave his insight on his team’s plan going into the game.
“We’ll have a good plan to be balanced on offense and protect the quarterback and free guys up in the pass game and hopefully good in critical situations, and then we’ve got to go out and execute it.”
If Cignetti’s crew can continue to perform the same way they have in the past weeks at home, the team should be smooth sailing against Michigan.
