HoosierIllustrated.com can confirm yet another 2026 Indiana basketball target will be in attendance for Hoosier Hysteria this Friday.

Along with a host of other local prospects, 2026 in-state small forward EJ Hazelett of Franklin Central High School (IN) will be in attendance for Hoosier Hysteria he told HoosierIllustrated.com.

He currently holds offers from schools such as Indiana State and Kent State with interest from Indiana basketball, Notre Dame, Purdue, Ohio State, Western Kentucky, and many other programs. He has made a visit to Bloomington in the past.

Hazelett, a 6-foot-7 athletic wing, is coming off a sophomore season where he averaged 16.2 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game for Franklin Central. He is also coming off a strong AAU season with Indy Heat 16U on the Nike EYBL Circuit.

He is one of the more high upside prospects in the state of Indiana and brings so much bounce and athleticism when on the floor. As far as a long-term upside, he sits sits at the top in the in-state 2026 class with his ability to shoot the ball very well from the perimeter and play with such fluidity.

Hazelett joins top 2027 in-state guard Jason Gardner Jr. and fellow 2026 wings Noah Smith and Justin Curry II as confirmed targets to be in attendance for Hoosier Hysteria this Friday.
