Episode 3 of In Touch with Indiana Sports with final thoughts on Media Days, an Indiana basketball outlook, new scholarship numbers, and more.

Welcome to the next episode of In Touch with Indiana Sports hosted by John Alden and powered by HoosierIllustrated.com. In today’s episode, we give some closing thoughts on Big Ten Football Media Days and look ahead to the upcoming season with staff writer Kyler Staley, as well as dive into some initial thoughts on Indiana basketball and the current state of the program.

Host John Alden talks about how Indiana football now transitions into preseason camp and awaits their first matchup at home against Florida International. Our own Kyler Staley joins the show once again to share his thoughts on what to expect in Curt Cignetti’s first season. He also gives some information on 2026 Indiana basketball target Caleb Holt. They also discuss how additional scholarships may potentially change the landscape of recruiting for all sports once the new numbers go into effect. Lastly, John begins to share his initial thoughts on the state of the Indiana basketball program and what to expect heading into Mike Woodson’s third year. With that, John goes over a bit of the non-conference slate of games and discusses how the strength of schedule won’t be a whole lot different from last season.

Join John Alden every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday each and every week as he discusses all things Indiana basketball, football, and much more when it comes to the Indiana Hoosiers, as well as other sports across the state.
