The Indiana basketball program has offered a scholarship to 2025 forward Eric Reibe of The Bullis School (MD).

Reibe is a 6-foot-11 forward who is starting to emerge this spring. Since the live periods have started in April, Reibe has received offers from Virginia Tech, Maryland, Georgetown, Iowa, Pitt and Illinois.

Reibe plays for New World AAU on the Adidas 3SSB circuit. The Indiana basketball has started to become involved with numerous prospects from the New World program over the last two summers.

Indiana assistant coach Kenya Hunter has strong ties to the east coast and the DMV area. He is the Indiana basketball assistant coach leading the recruitment.

Reibe is a lefty who can do a little bit of everything on the floor. He has good touch from the outside and can be a stretch-5 at the college level. He has good length and footwork to be effective in the paint as well. He still needs to put on weight to be able to compete at the next level, but he’s still effective around the rim.

Reibe is a German native and arrived in the United States in January.

He played for U18 Ratiopharm Ulm last season and averaged 15.5 points and 9.0 rebounds per game in the U18 Adidas Next Generation Tournament this winter. He was 6-of-12 from three in the tournament.

He played for the U16 German team in the 2022 European Championships. He averaged 11.3 points and 7.0 rebounds in eight games.
