Live, running blog of Sneakers for Santa in Brownsburg featuring Indiana basketball targets Trent Sisley and Azavier Robinson.

The fourth annual Sneakers for Santa takes place today at Brownsburg High School (IN) and features some of the top teams and and talent in the state in six huge matchups throughout the day. This event also features a couple of Indiana basketball 2025 targets, as well.

Those targets include three-star guard Azavier Robinson (Lawrence North) and key four-star forward target Trent Sisley (Heritage Hills). Other top prospects in this event include Purdue signee Jack Benter (Brownstown Central), Northwester signee K.J. Windham (Ben Davis), Josiah Dunham (Evansville Christian), Brady Koehler (Cathedral), Mark Zackery (Ben Davis), Jevon Lewis (Fort Wayne Wayne), Chase Barnes (Fort Wayne Wayne), Kobi Bowels (Lawrence North), Dezmon Briscoe (Crispus Attucks), and many more.

Below is the live blog and updates of each game throughout the day.

11:30: Heritage Hills vs. Evansville Christian

Heritage Hills wins the tip and we are off.

Indiana assistant coach Brian Walsh is here at Brownsburg HS watching key 2025 4-star target Trent Sisley. Former Indiana forward Derek Elston also in attendance as well.

Sisley has a couple of real strong buckets in the post to start off here but has missed a few bunnies as well. Heritage Hills sophomore wing Jake Prior showing off a smooth outside jumper.

High scoring first quarter. Sisley putting on a show early here. Josiah Dunham hit a tough step-back three at the buzzer.

End Q1: Evansville Christian 17, Heritage Hills 14.

Man, Evansville Christian guard Josiah Dunham has been money from the wing this game. Been great on the ball per usual, as well. Such an under-recruited player in the state.

Josiah Dunham and Luke Davis lead the Eagles with 8 points a piece. Trenty Sisley has 10 points to lead all scorers while Peyton Gray has added 5. He is playing well.

Evansville Christian goes into halftime with the 30-22 lead.

Extremely back and forth start of the second half. Heritage clawing there way back into this one. Has not been easy.

Evansville Christian tried to hold the ball for the last minute but turned it over with about 10 seconds to go and Heritage Hills was able to get an easy fast break layup.

End Q3: Heritage Hills 37, Evansville Christian 35

After 3 mins of action, Josiah Dunham scores the first point of the quarter at the 5 min mark. 37-36 Heritage will with 4:37 left.

Tied ballgame here at Sneakers for Santa between Heritage Hills and Evansville Christian. 40-40 with 3:32 left.

Evansville Christian forward Luke Davis fouls out. Tough break for the Eagles as he was being a difference maker on both ends.

The stars are taking over here in the 4th Quarter. Trent Sisley and Josiah Dunham trading buckets.

Final: Heritage Hills 53, Evansville Christian 47.

Trent Sisley finishes with a 24 point, 10 rebound double-double. Josiah Dunham finishes with 18 for Evansville Christian.

1:15: Cathedral vs. Evansville Bosse

Next game here at Sneakers for Santa is a good one. Guys to watch here Brady Koehler (Cathedral) and Tara Howell.

Missed a bit of the action getting an interview with Trent Sisley.

Cathedral leads 36-22 at the half. 

Cathedral bounces the lead to 45-26 in the third. Bosse having a hard time matching up with Cathedral size and overall speed.

Brady Koehler is going to be a name to watch for in the in-state 2025 class. 6’9 versatile wing that can impact the games on both ends of the floor.

End 3Q: Cathedral 65, Bosse 37

3:00: Brownsburg vs. Warren Central

Third game of the day fearers the host Brownsburg vs Warren Central here at Sneakers for Santa.

Warrens jumped out to an early 9-4 lead behind nice buckets from 2025 forward Jevon Guess and guard Deke Kirby.

End 1Q: Warren Central 13, Brownsburg 8

Warren Central pushes the lead 20-9 with 3:11 left in the half. Been a real ugly game. Warriors really dominating on the defensive end.

Keshaun Harlan has 8 points, Jevon Guess & Zeke Kirby each have 7 points for the Warriors. Grant Porath & Jordan Lomax each have 6 points for Brownsburg.

At the half: Warren Central 24, Brownsburg 18.

Jordan Lomax nails a three to cut the lead down to 30-29. Little bit more life for the Bulldogs on both ends. Hitting so tough shots from both the outside and around the rim.

Brownsburg takes the 35-34 in the 3Q. 

Warren Central up 40-39 with 4:02 left.

Trading buckets back-and-fourth here.

2:18 left. Brownsburg leads 43-42 over Warren Central. Both teams getting ran scrappy on defense.

Spencer Porath hits two FTs to extend the Brownsburg lead to 46-42 with 56.4 left.

8.9 seconds left…Brownsburg leads 47-44. Warren Central ball.

Final: Brownsburg 49, Warren Central 44. 

Grant Porath 18pts, Jordan Lomax 14pts for Brownsburg. Zeke Kirby 12pts, Keshaun Harlan 11pts, and Jevon Guess 10pts for Warren Central.

4:45: Ben Davis vs. Fort Wayne Wayne

Big one up next at Sneakers for Santa. Fort Wayne Wayne is one of the 4A state favorites led by guard duo Jevon Lewis and Chase Barnes. Ben Davis is led by Northwestern signee K.J. Windham..

Ben Davis guard Mark Zackery coming off the bench for the Giants.

2025 forward HJ Dillard really impressing to start here. Big body and runs the floor well. Also Jevon Lewis pushing the pace and creating like he does well.

End 1Q: Ben Davis 16, FW Wayne 11

FW Wayne battled and took a 22-20 lead. Chase Barnes stepping up now and getting some nice looks around the basket.

Back-to-back buckets from KJ Windham cuts the lead down to 31-27

At the half: FW Wayne 33, Ben Davis 30

Quick buckets from Ben Davis gives them the lead. Windham and Zackery are clicking at all levels right now.

Giants take a 41-38 lead. Defense has been really up in your face from the start of the second half.

Zackery 3 extend the Giants lead 46-38.

2025 forward Tavion Williams has been an impact player for Ben Davis this game. Scoring around he rim, dunks, rim protects, rebounds, etc.

End 3Q: Ben Davis 53, FW Wayne 42

Ben Davis controlled then entire 4Q and took over.

6:30: Lawrence North vs. Brownstown Central

Colby Hall stepping up in the absence of Jack Benter. Battling Brennan Miller so no easy task. Real smooth power forward that can make tough shots.

Kobi Bowels up to 8 pts for LN. Colby Hall has 6 for Brownstown.

End 1Q: LN 16, Brownstown 10

Indiana assistant coach Brian Walsh is in attendance to watch both Azavier Robinson and Brennan Miller.

Brownstown knocking down lots of threes to stay in this one. With no Benter, the Braves are just really struggling to match the talent and athletic ability.

6’8″ sophomore Kai McGrew leads with 12 points. Kobi Bowles has added 8 points for the Wildcats. Parker Hehman has scored 10 points for Brownstown.

Very good stretch by Azavier Robinson there as well.

At the half: Lawrence North 33, Brownstown 21.

Browsntown scored first out of the break but LN answered with a few shots.

Azavier Robinson up to 10 points.

LN extends the lead to 45-26.

End 3Q: Lawrence North 54, Brownstown 28

6’8″ sophomore Kai McGrew was excellent in this one. 18 points and 8 rebounds. Azavier Robinson added 12 points for the Wildcats.

Parker Hehman led all scorers with 24 points for BC

Final: Lawrence North 72, Brownstown 47

8:15: Crispus Attucks vs. Center Grove

Indiana assistant coach Brian Walsh is watching 2025 power forward Dezmon Briscoe of Crispus Attucks here at Sneakers for Santa.

Center Grove senior forward Will Spellman with arguably the two biggest blocks of the day. Blocked Dezmon Brisoce and then a few plays later blocked U-Indy signee Ron Rutland III.

End 1Q: Center Grove 13, Crispus Attucks 10

Game has just been real tight. Center Grove up 18-15 with 4:55 left in the half. Other guys stepping up around Brisoce and Rutland III.
