Indiana basketball returns to hardwood to host the Michigan Wolverines today in Bloomington. Indiana is coming off a loss to Wisconsin that made them 5-7 in the Big Ten.

First half:
Indiana basketball wins the tip. Ballo misses a bunny.
Michigan scores first.
Ballo gets a floater to drop. Good spacing created by Reneau. Michigan with a turnover right after. Myles Rice turns it over however.
Michigan up 5-2.
Leal hits a pull-up three.
Mgbako misses a baseline jumper. Rice picks up his first foul.
Michigan up 14-5 now. Mike Woodson calls timeout at the 15:07 mark.
Ballo misses a hook shot out of the break. Michigan extends lead to 16-14.
Reneau stops the bleeding.
Tucker in for Ballo.
Galloway missed a layup but made a good play to throw the ball off of Michigan. Reneau got another bucket and Michigan caused a turnover.
Indiana basketball cooking now. Goode hit a three and the defense has picked up. Ballo got another floater to drop.
9-0 run for Indiana basketball and they are playing some very good defense. Michigan has not scored in 2:52.

Indiana basketball gets a stop out of the break. Bryson Tucker gets a jumper to drop to tie it.
Michigan hits a three. 19-16 Michigan.
Galloway with connects on the pull up jumper.
Michigan extends lead to 26-18.
Galloway fouled on the layup attempt. He goes 1-2 at the line.
Danny Wolf hits a three. Michigan up 10.
Ballo picks up his 2nd foul. We go to break.
Michigan leads 29-19 with 7:41 left in the half.
Michigan has extended the lead to 35-19. No offense for Indiana now.
Goal tend called on Michigan. Gives Indiana their first points in 3 minutes.
Reneau with a couple back-to-back buckets.
Michigan leads 37-25 with 3:37 left in the half.
Indiana basketball turnover out of the break. Reneau lost the ball.
Luke Goode is visibly frustrated coming off the floor. Not happy with the foul called on him.
Rice fouled. Michigan calls a timeout.

Second Half
Michigan with the ball out of the break. The turn the ball over.
Trey Galloway hits a big three for Indiana basketball. Hoosiers down 13.
Mgbako gets his first bucket to drop.
Reneau gets fouled. He goes 1-2 at the line.
Malik Reneau has done a well job today scoring in the paint. He’s been going up against solid defenders in Danny Wolf and Vlad Goldin. Needed to see him have somewhat of a bounce back game after these last few. 11 points on 5-of-7 FG shooting in 19 minutes.
Michigan leads 49-35 with 15:44 to go.
Anthony Leal knocks down his 2nd three. Hoosiers down 11.
Mgbako knocks down a tough shot. Hoosiers down 9.
Golden scores. Lead back to 11.
Goode missed three. Mgbako got the rebound and then got fouled. He goes 2-2 at the line. Indiana basketball back down 9.
Leal got a steal. Reneau drove and got it to Mgbako, who goes fouled again. He goes 2-2 at the line.
Hoosiers down 51-44.
Three seconds called on Michigan. Don’t see that often.
Michigan back up 9.
Malik Reneau with a big bucket plus the foul. We head into the under-12 media timeout. Indiana down 53-46.
Reneau hits the free throw. Hoosiers down 6.
Tucker finds Mgbako for the three and he converts. THIS PLACE IS LOUD. Hoosiers down three with 10:59 to go.
Malik Reneau with a big defensive rebound. Galloway had a turnover but Tucker got it back. Galloway got fouled on the floor right after.
Reneau finds Mgbako for the layup. Indiana down 1.
Galloway got called for a foul. Golden goes 2-2 at the line. 9:00 to go and Hoosiers are down three.
Tucker misses a jumper. Would missed a jumper and a jump ball was called. Indiana basketball. Woodson calls timeout at the 8:22 mark.
Reneau with a missed jumper out of the break. Wolf scores over Reneau. Michigan back up 5.
Golden scores. Michigan back up 7.
Indiana turnover.
Leal got fouled. He goes 1-2.
Leal forced a turnover. Hoosiers down 6. Have to find offense.
Leal with an up-and-under bucket. Indiana down 4.
Galloway scored. Hoosiers down 2. Michigan timeout.
Hoosiers force a shot clock violation.
Goode got fouled. He goes 2-2. Tied game.
Ballo blocks Wolf’s layup attempt out of bounds. We head into the under-4 media timeout. 59-59.
Luke Goode forces a jump ball and Indiana takes possession. On the ensuing possession Goode misses the go-ahead three.
Goldin dunks it on the other end to take the lead.
Donalson scores a layup after an Mgbako missed shot.
Mgbako answers with a bucket of his own, but Wolf gets an and-one to go and Michigan leads 66-61.
Indiana timeout with 1:17 to go.
Malik Reneau scores out of the timeout to cut the deficit to 3.
Hoosiers force a stop on the other end and Mike Woodson uses his last timeout with 26 seconds remaining and IU trailing 66-63.
Mgbako misses a three out of the timeout and the rebound is tied up, but the possession arrow goes to Michigan.
Michigan uses their final timeout with 20 seconds remaining.
IU fouls Donaldson who misses the front end of the one-and-one.
Michigan fouls Galloway with 12.5 seconds left and he goes to the line for a one-and-one.
Galloway makes the first and misses the second and Mgbako fouls Wolf on the rebound.
Wolf converts both free throws and Michigan leads 68-64 with 11 seconds to go.
Reneau misses a three on the other end and that’ll do it.
