Every time Trayce Jackson-Davis has stepped on the floor for the Golden State Warriors, good things have happened. And, he continued that trend on Tuesday night with another outstanding performance.

Jackson-Davis, who was coming off of a career-high 14 points on Monday night, turned in another terrific performance.

On Tuesday, Trayce Jackson-Davis had his first career double-double in a 132-126 OT win over the Boston Celtics. He finished with 10 points on 5-of-7 shooting with 13 rebounds and three blocks in a career-high 29 minutes.

“He was tremendous. I mean, he was the player of the game,” Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said postgame. “There were several huge plays … Trayce was the guy who shifted everything. Plus 25 in his minutes. Second great game in a row.

“You can see the impact he makes. He’s gonna play. He’s gonna be in the lineup … meaning he’s going to be in the rotation.”

One of his three blocks — and his only in the second half — came at a critical moment of the game. With 2:29 left in overtime, and a 125-121 lead, Celtics wing Jaylen Brown drove into Jackson-Davis and tried to rise up for a dunk. Jackson-Davis met him at the rim for an emphatic block.

Trayce Jackson-Davis has seen an increase in playing time with the suspension of Draymond Green, but even early in the season you could see the impact he was making in limited minutes. Now in an expanded role, his efficiency and production is increasing even more.

On the season, Jackson-Davis is averaging 3.9 points, 2.8 rebounds and 0.7 blocks in 9.5 minutes per game. He’s appeared in 17 games.
