This past Saturday, Tom Allen and his Indiana Hoosiers got back on the field for their annual spring football scrimmage. This was a chance for the players that were healthy enough to participate to get some live-action reps for the first time this year.

To go along with the spring scrimmage, the Indiana head coach thought that the team has had a great spring thus far while they continue to work on getting better.

“We had a very good spring,” said Tom Allen after the scrimmage. “Just really excited about the work we’ve got, even continuing to today. More individual technique, fundamentals, working on things we to do to get better.

“It’s a big deal getting out of the spring healthy. Had zero long-term injuries. Had some guys that missed some days, but nothing that’s going to be past probably the next month. So that hasn’t been the case the last several years, so that’s a big deal to get through it, to be able to be healthy, and to come through and have a great, great summer … It’s been a very, very positive spring. Excited about where we’re at. Just have a lot of work ahead of us.”

Below are the highlights from Indiana Football’s spring scrimmage.
