Indiana 2024 four-star guard target Travis Perry, who is playing for Indiana Elite 2024, competed in the IndyBall Shootout which took place this past weekend in Noblesville, Indiana. Perry would help lead Indiana Elite 2024 to an undefeated weekend.

Hoosier Illustrated was in attendance and got an extended look at the Lyon County High School (KY) guard.

Perry continues to be one of the primary guard targets for Mike Woodson and the Indiana staff when it comes to the 2024 class. Perry has visited Indiana multiple times and was officially extended an offer in early January of this year. Schools such as Purdue, Kentucky, Missouri, Western Kentucky, Virginia, Cincinnati, Michigan, and many more also heavily involved with the four-star guard.

Below are extended highlights of 2024 four-star guard Travis Perry at the IndyBall Shootout plus an evaluation of how he looked over the weekend.

Perry was steady and fantastic all weekend long. As it is well-known by now, Perry is an elite scorer that can get a bucket in so many ways. While he played mostly off the ball here, he was able to create his own shot very well both on and off the ball at times. He attacked the lanes so well taking his defender off the dribble with a strong first step and would either finish at the rim or find the space to get a jump shot off. With most of the competition Indiana elite 2024 faced did not provide a realistic challenge, Perry was able to carve the defense up very easily with his elite court vision, sharp passing, and high IQ on full display. The four-star guard is one of the most pure scorers in the 2024 class and the things that he does on the floor translates into winning. No matter the competition level, Perry’s feel for the game and ability to score in any way is always going to be a problem for his opponent.
